Well limewire broke my computer, to be specific it was Leanne Rimes. Andrew was having Eden last Saturday overnight so I could get my essay done and without a laptop the only choice I had was to go out with my friends drinking. Tis a crying shame. It was Lauras Birthday so we went to Didsbury with Sammy and Di and Joyce who I have never been out with before but despite her being twice our ages she joined in pretty well. Lucy and Steph also came for a little while but with Lucy being t-total and Steph being 7 months pregnant they understandably were not up for a full night out. Considering it ended with kareoke they were probably the sensible ones.
So £60 I've given to PC world and they are going to fix my laptop and it should be ready in a few days. So how am I here?
I've borrowed my Mums laptop while she is on holiday with my Dad. It's their 25th anniversary :) They are going to Egypt and taking a hot air balloon ride down The Nile... me I'm taking the 368 bus into Stockport to buy toilet paper. That pretty much sums up the comparison.
I was in college today and we were put into tripods to do some practice sessions. To keep it simple we were give the problem of 'being uncomfortable in social situations' then we could expand that as we wished in out tripods. I surprised myself by bringing my actual problem to the group that I feel left out of social banter as many of my friends watch reality TV and soap operas and I don't feel I should change my interests but I hate feeling like I'm missing out. I could have made up something but I obviously felt comfortable at the time and it was only a 5 minute session. I think the fact that it was reality helped the flow because when the others presented their 'uncomfortable in social situations' characters I could tell one of them was definitely fictitious.
I enjoyed chatting to a girl called Claire whose Mum is French. She studied fine art and loves Amsterdam. She is the kind of girl I was hoping to meet on this course so I felt happy.
I had to buy a text book for £18.99 which considering I've paid nearly £800 for this course I thought the text books were included. It's not that I couldn't afford it but it's a lot for one book when I know there are several more on the reading list. I tout they would be £6 or £7 each almost £19 is silly.

Sorry to hear about the computer. At least your class is going well. Or it least it sounds like it :)
